COL BKB: Pittsburgh 58, Marquette 51

MILWAUKEE, Feb. 18 (UPI) -- Nasir Robinson, Gary McGhee, Brad Wanamaker and Jermaine Dixon each netted 10 points Thursday to pace No. 21 Pittsburgh to a 58-51 win over Marquette.

McGhee keyed a stingy defense, blocking six shots as Pittsburgh (20-6, 9-4 Big East) got hot from the floor in the second half. The Panthers shot a sizzling 60 percent in the final frame, going 12-of-20 to notch their fourth straight win.

Marquette (16-9, 7-6) could only manage 11-of-33 field-goal shooting for the game.

The Warriors were led by Jimmy Butler with 14 points and seven rebounds while Darius Johnson-Odom and Lazar Hayward contributed 13 and 11 points, respectively, in the loss.
