COL BKB: Duke 81, Miami-Florida 74

CORAL GABLES, Fla., Feb. 17 (UPI) -- Sixth-ranked Duke, led by Kyle Singler with 22 points, pulled away in the last 5 1/2 minutes Wednesday and beat Miami-Florida 81-74.

Jon Scheyer hit a couple of 3-point shots during a late surge that sent the Blue Devils (22-4, 10-2 ACC) to their fifth straight win.

Nolan Smith fired in five 3-pointers and scored 21 points, Scheyer finished with 15 and Brian Zoubek had 10 points and five steals for Duke.

Dwayne Collins had 21 points for the Hurricanes (17-9, 3-9), who have lost four of their last five games.
