OKLAHOMA CITY, Feb. 16 (UPI) -- Kevin Durant netted 25 points Tuesday, his 26th straight game with at least 25 points, sparking the Oklahoma City Thunder to a 99-86 win over Dallas.
Durant scored his 24th and 25th points on a floater with 26.6 seconds remaining as the Thunder posted their seventh straight win, which moved them 10 games above .500 at 31-21.
Jeff Green, Russell Westbrook and James Harden each contributed 17 points in the win.
The Mavericks, led by Dirk Nowitzki's 24 points, lost their first game with forward Caron Butler, center Brendan Haywood and guard DeShawn Stevenson, all of whom were obtained Sunday in a blockbuster trade with Washington.
Butler notched 13 points and six rebounds while Haywood had seven points and six boards. The Mavericks couldn't overcome an anemic 32.3 percent field goal shooting percentage, in which they could manage only 7 of 21 3-point tries.
