COL BKB: Michigan State 72, Indiana 58

BLOOMINGTON, Ind., Feb. 16 (UPI) -- Draymond Green and Kalin Lucas combined for 27 points Tuesday to spark No. 11 Michigan State to a 72-58 pounding of Indiana.

Green scored 14, Lucas added 13 and Raymar Morgan and Chris Allen chipped in with 10 apiece for Michigan State (21-6, 11-3 Big Ten), which ran out to 29-21 lead during a 10-2 run midway through the opening half and never looked backed.

Allen capped the spurt with a jumper with 6:19 left in the half and the Spartans never allowed Indiana to get closer than 11 points thereafter. His back-to-back 3-pointers late in the game put Michigan State up 66-49.

Verdell Jones scored 20 points and Christian Watford contributed 14 for Indiana (9-16, 3-10), losers of seven straight.
