CHICAGO, Feb. 15 (UPI) -- The Chicago Bulls' Derrick Rose missed practice Monday with a bruised hip, one day after participating in the NBA All-Star Game.

Rose had hinted he would be sidelined after playing 15 minutes in the All-Star Game Sunday, the Chicago Tribune reported.

The Bulls' Joakim Noah returned to practice after missing time with plantar fasciitis in his left foot. He missed the final four games before the All-Star break.

The team announced it had signed forward Chris Richard to a second 10-day contract. Richard, a 6-foot-9, 256-pound forward, originally signed a 10-day contract with the Bulls Feb. 5.
