Olympic Medal: M 10km Biathlon

WHISTLER, British Columbia, Feb. 14 (UPI) -- Vincent Jay of France won the Olympic gold medal Sunday in the men's 10-kilometer biathlon sprint.

The silver medal went to Emil Hegle Svendsen of Norway and the bronze to Jakov Fak of Croatia.

Jeremy Tella of the United States wound up ninth, the highest Olympic biathlon finish ever for an American.
