UNIONDALE, N.Y., Feb. 13 (UPI) -- Richard Park's second goal of the game late in regulation lifted the New York Islanders to a 5-4 win over Tampa Bay Saturday.
Park scored on the rebound from his own wraparound try at the left post, which had been stopped by Lightning goalie Antero Niittymaki's quick pad with 1:27 remaining in the game. Park's tally was counted upon video review after first being ruled "no goal" by the officials on the ice.
Kyle Okposo, Doug Weight and Blake Comeau also added a goal and a helper apiece as the Islanders posted their second win in three games after snapping a seven-game losing streak.
New York's Martin Biron logged 38 saves in the win.
Tampa Bay got goals from Steven Stamkos Steve Downie, Mike Lundin and Nate Thompson, while Niittymaki allowed five goals on 33 shots in the loss.
