COL BKB: Cornell 48, Princeton 45

PRINCETON, N.J., Feb. 13 (UPI) -- Ryan Wittman scored 13 points and Jeff Foote added 11 Saturday to lift No. 22 Cornell to a 48-45 triumph over Princeton.

The Big Red (21-4, 7-1 Ivy League) posted a 24-21 lead at the half thanks to a sizzling 50 percent field goal shooting percentage.

In the second half, Cornell was hit 6-of-8 from the free throw line. The Big Red held Princeton to just 36.4 percent shooting from the field.

Princeton (14-6, 5-1) was led by Douglas Davis' 20 points.
