Edmonton held a 2-1 advantage heading into the latter stages of the second period, but Bobby Ryan tied it with his second goal of the game. His power-play tally came with 4:38 to play in the stanza.

Marchant then produced the game-winner by tipping in a shot from James Wisniewski.

Jonas Hiller stayed busy by making 37 saves to get the win. He picked up his fifth victory in six appearances.

Jeff Deslauriers stopped 27-of-30 shots in the loss.

Anaheim has not lost at home in 2010, its most recent setback coming Dec. 6 against Ottawa.

Edmonton has lost 11 straight away from home, which is also a team record.
