NHL: Colorado 5, St. Louis 2

DENVER, Feb. 9 (UPI) -- Brandon Yip scored two goals for the Colorado Avalanche, which trailed early but stormed back with four straight goals Monday to rip the St. Louis Blues 5-2.

Chris Stewart had a goal and two assists and Paul Stastny added a goal and assist for the Avalanche.

T.J. Galiardi also scored and Craig Anderson turned away 32 shots for Colorado, which has won three of four.

The Blues goals were posted by Eric Brewer and Erik Johnson.

St. Louis, which has lost four of five, used two goalies. Starter Chris Mason gave up five goals with 10 saves and Ty Conklin turned in 18 saves.
