NHL: Boston 3, Buffalo 2 (SO)

BUFFALO, N.Y., Feb. 9 (UPI) -- David Krejci notched a fourth-round shootout goal Tuesday to hand the Boston Bruins a 3-2 win over Buffalo.

The shootout round began when Buffalo's Drew Stafford missed a wrist shot. Krejci then followed by coming down the middle of the ice, briefly losing control of the puck, then pulling it in and lifting a wrist shot by Ryan Miller for the win.

The Bruins got also got two goals from Daniel Paille as they won for the second straight time after dropping 10 in a row. Tuukka Rask backstopped the win with 43 saves.

Derek Roy and Tyler Myers each scored for Buffalo, which lost its fifth straight game.
