
MIAMI, Feb. 9 (UPI) -- Dwyane Wade scored 17 points and Udonis Haslem added 14 Tuesday, leading a balanced attack that powered the Miami Heat's 99-66 rout of Houston.
Wade also contributed seven assists and picked off five steals for the Heat, who snapped a five-game losing streak. Haslem pulled down 14 rebounds off the bench while Carlos Arroyo helped out with 12 points and seven assists.
Miami also got 10 points each from Michael Beasley, Jermaine O'Neal and Daequan Cook.
The Heat put the game away in the second quarter when they went 13-of-19 from the field while holding the Rockets to a meager 5-of-19 shooting. The mismatch allowed Miami to post a commanding 56-31 halftime lead.
Chase Budinger scored 10 points and pulled down 12 rebounds for Houston, which tied its franchise record for fewest points in a game.
