NHL: Boston 3, Montreal 0

MONTREAL, Feb. 7 (UPI) -- Tuukka Rask turned away 36 shots Sunday and the Boston Bruins ended a 10-game losing streak with a 3-0 win over the Montreal Canadiens.

Rask's shutout was his third this season.

Boston won for the first time since Jan. 14, when the Bruins beat San Jose 2-1 in a shootout.

Marco Sturm got two of Boston's goals against Montreal. Adam McQuaid also scored and Patrice Bergeron had two assists.

Montreal goalie Jaroslav Halak was credited with 24 saves.

The Canadiens had won their previous three games.
