
ATLANTA, Feb. 7 (UPI) -- Niclas Bergfors and Evander Kane scored late in the third period Saturday, rallying the Atlanta Thrashers to a 4-2 win over the Florida Panthers.
Radek Dvorak's 10th and 11th goals this season had staked Florida to a 2-0 lead after the first period.
Atlanta's Maxim Afinogenov (18) (power play) and Bryan Little (9) scored one goal each in the second, creating a 2-2 tie, then Bergfors (14) put Atlanta ahead, 3-2, at 15:34 of the third, and Kane (12) (unassisted) scored at 18:46 to secure Atlanta's victory.
Nik Antropov had three assists, while net-minder Johan Hedberg stopped 26-of-28 shots for the Thrashers, who snapped a three-game slide.
Goalie Tomas Vokoun was beaten four times on 34 shots for the Panthers, who have lost four of their last five contests.
