AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Feb. 7 (UPI) -- Jonas Jerebko scored 20 points and Richard Hamilton had 17 to give the sputtering Detroit Pistons a 99-92 win over the New Jersey Nets.
The win was Detroit's second in three games after ending a five-game losing streak and extended New Jersey's latest skid to 14 games.
Jerebko was 9-for-9 from the field to lead Detroit and Rodney Stuckey came through with 10 points and 11 assists.
Devin Harris led New Jersey with 21 points and seven assists, but had to be helped from the court late in the game after colliding with teammate Jarvis Hayes.
The Nets pulled to within 93-90 with 2:11 to play in the game but Stuckey sank four free throws with 1:55 to play to keep the game out of reach.
Detroit led 26-18 after one quarter and 56-47 at halftime.
