ZAGREB, Croatia, Feb. 7 (UPI) -- Marin Cilic captured his fifth ATP singles championship Sunday, winning the Zagreb Indoors in Croatia for the second straight year.

Cilic, who was the event's top seed, won in three sets, 6-4, 6-7 (5-7), 6-3 over Michael Berrer of Germany.

Cilic has been in seven ATP finals. He defeated countryman Mario Ancic in the Zagreb Indoors title match last year.

Berrer was played in a tour final for the first time.
