
ORLANDO, Fla., Feb. 5 (UPI) -- Caron Butler made a jump shot in the final second Friday to complete a Washington comeback and give the Wizards a 92-91 win over Orlando.
Orlando let a 21-point, first-half lead slip away and lost for the first time in five games.
Butler scored 29 of his 31 points in the second half, boosting the Wizards to their eighth road win of the season. Washington outscored Orlando by 22 points in the third period to storm back into the contest.
Rashard Lewis gave Orlando a two-point lead by hitting a 3-pointer with 4.6 seconds remaining, but Butler followed with a 19-foot shot from along the baseline. The ball went through the basket with .5 of a second showing on the clock.
Randy Foye scored 22 points for Washington. Orlando, which suffered its fifth home loss, got 21 points from Vince Carter. Dwight Howard had 20 points and 18 rebounds.
