NBA: Indiana 107, Detroit 83

INDIANAPOLIS, Feb. 5 (UPI) -- Danny Granger led the way with 25 points Friday and Indiana broke the game open late in the first half on its way to a 107-83 crushing of Detroit.

In a meeting of the two worst teams in the Central Division, Indiana shot 52 percent from the floor and handed the Pistons their sixth loss in seven outings.

Indiana held a 38-33 lead with 5 minutes to play in the second quarter and then finished the period on a 14-4 run. The Pacers went on to score the first eight points of the third quarter.

Brandon Rush added 16 points for Indiana and Dahntay Jones had 13. Ben Gordon led Detroit with 26.

Indiana has defeated Detroit in their last four meetings.
