NBA: Oklahoma City 103, New Orleans 99

NEW ORLEANS, Feb. 3 (UPI) -- Kevin Durant made two free throws with 8 seconds to play Wednesday, securing Oklahoma City's 103-99 victory over New Orleans.

Durant put Oklahoma City in front for good by hitting a jump shot with 3:14 remaining and the Thunder held New Orleans to four points the rest of the way.

Durant scored 30 points, his 23rd straight game with at least 25, and Oklahoma City won its fourth straight. The Thunder had lost their previous 10 games against New Orleans.

Jeff Green and Nenad Krstic each had 14 points for Oklahoma City, which holds the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference.

New Orleans, which has lost three out of four, got 22 points from Marcus Thornton.
