COL BKB: Kansas State 76, Nebraska 57

LINCOLN, Neb., Feb. 3 (UPI) -- Denis Clemente scored 23 points and Jamar Samuels added 15 as No. 11 Kansas State downed Nebraska 76-57 Tuesday.

Samuels grabbed nine rebounds, Jacob Pullen contributed 13 points and Curtis Kelly ended with 12 points for the Wildcats (18-4, 5-3 Big 12), who won in Lincoln, Neb., for the first time since March 1, 2006, breaking a three-game losing skid there.

Kansas State was never really threatened after jumping off to a 14-7 lead to start the game, during which Clemente nailed a 3-pointer. Samuels later connected on a jumper to extend the Wildcats' lead to 30-15 with just under 8 minutes remaining in the first half.

The Cornhuskers (13-9, 1-6) were led by Brian Diaz with 13 points while Ryan Anderson chipped in 10.
