Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24

WACO, Texas, Feb. 3 (UPI) -- LaceDarius Dunn made 8-of-14 from the field and scored 21 points Wednesday, leading No. 24 Baylor past Iowa State 84-63.
Baylor improved to 11-1 at home this season, including a victory over Texas last week.
Ekpe Udoh added 19 points and 10 rebounds to go with five blocks. Tweety Carter had 14 for the Bears (17-4, 4-3 Big 12 Conference).
Iowa State (13-9, 2-5), losers of four out of five, was paced by Craig Brackins with 19.
Baylor had a 38-34 halftime lead, but pulled away to a 15-point advantage midway through the second half. Dunn made a 3-pointer with 6 minutes remaining to put the Bears in front 65-49.
The Cyclones have lost 18 straight games against ranked teams.
