NBA: Charlotte 103, Sacramento 96

SACRAMENTO, Jan. 31 (UPI) -- Gerald Wallace scored 38 points and grabbed 11 rebounds Saturday in Charlotte's 103-96 victory over the Sacramento Kings.

Nazr Mohammed added 17 points and 10 rebounds for the Bobcats and Stephen Jackson and Flip Murray each scored 13.

Kevin Martin led the Kings with 31 points. Sacramento has lost 14 of its last 16 games.

The Bobcats held a 56-54 lead at halftime and hit their stride in the third quarter to take control. A 23-5 run helped pad their lead to 90-67 at the end of the third quarter -- enough to withstand being outscored 29-13 in the fourth quarter.
