COL BKB: Purdue 66, Penn State 46

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind., Jan. 31 (UPI) -- Twelfth-ranked Purdue, led by Robbie Hummel with 23 points, began the second half with a 19-4 run Sunday and went on to whip cold-shooting Penn State 66-46.

JaJuan Johnson scored 13 points and E'Twaun Moore had 12 for the Boilermakers (18-3, 6-3 Big 10).

Purdue sank 8-of-16 shots from 3-point range in its fourth straight win.

Penn State (8-13, 0-9) shot just 31.3 percent from the field.

Talor Battle was the top scorer for the Nittany Lions with 13 points. David Jackson added 11 and Bill Edwards had 10 points and 13 rebounds.
