COLUMBUS, Ohio, Jan. 28 (UPI) -- Anze Kopitar's two goals and Jonathan Quick's 29 saves Thursday lifted the Los Angeles Kings to a 4-1 victory at Columbus.

Kopitar scored in the second and third periods, giving him 22 goals this season. His first goal at 15:46 of the second was the 100th of his career, and his second, at 9:26 of the third, was the game's lone power-play goal.

Ryan Smyth had one goal and one assist and Matt Greene scored once, while Quick faced a total of 30 shots for the Kings, who have won the first three contests on their five-game road trip and six of seven overall.

Antoine Vermette's 17th goal of the season, at 10:38 of the third, was the lone goal for Columbus.

Steve Mason yielded four goals on just 18 shots for the Blue Jackets, whose three-game winning streak ended. They fell to 10-3-1 in their last 14 contests against the Kings in Columbus.
