AUBURN, Ala., Jan. 28 (UPI) -- Terrico White scored nine of his 19 points over the final 10 minutes Thursday, carrying No. 20 Mississippi in a late run en route to an 84-74 win over Auburn.
The Rebels won their third straight and also have captured three conference games on the road.
Ty Armstrong made a dunk for Auburn with 10:31 to play, forging a 57-57 tie.
White, however, hit a jumper with 9:58 left to put Mississippi in front for good -- touching off a 27-17 run to the end of the game.
Chris Warren led Mississippi in scoring with 20 points. The Rebels improved to 16-4 for the season and to 4-2 in the Western Division of the Southeastern Conference. Mississippi State leads the division at 3-1.
Auburn (10-11, 1-5 SEC West) was paced by Tay Waller with 21.
