NBA: Dallas 108, Milwaukee 107

DALLAS, Jan. 27 (UPI) -- Dirk Nowitzki scored 28 points and the Dallas Mavericks held off a late charge to post a 108-107 win over Milwaukee Tuesday.

The Mavs led 108-101 with about 2 minutes left but the Bucks scored the game's final six points to make it close. Carlos Delfino's driving jump shot in the closing seconds after a Nowitzki turnover missed the mark, preserving Dallas' win.

Jason Terry contributed 21 points and Jason Kidd chipped in with 11 points and 12 assists for the Mavericks.

Andrew Bogut had a remarkable, scoring 32 points on 13-of-14 shooting, and pulling down nine rebounds for Milwaukee. Delfino contributed 22 points while Brandon Jennings added 12 points and seven assists.
