COL BKB: Syracuse 73, Georgetown 56

SYRACUSE, N.Y., Jan. 25 (UPI) -- Fourth-ranked Syracuse's Kris Joseph and Andy Rautins each scored 15 points Monday, pacing a balanced Orange attack in a 73-56 victory over No. 11 Georgetown.

Syracuse (20-1, 7-1 Big East) fell behind by 14 points early but steadily came back, led by five points at halftime and had a double-digit lead early in the second half.

Wes Johnson scored 14 points, grabbed nine rebounds blocked four shots and came up with four steals for Syracuse, which shot 53.3 percent from the floor in its seventh straight win.

Austin Freeman tallied 23 points and Jason Clark had 15 for the Hoyas (15-4, 6-3).
