
VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Jan. 24 (UPI) -- Roberto Luongo had 43 saves and Henrik Sedin scored twice in Vancouver's 5-1 win over the visiting Chicago Blackhawks Saturday.
Daniel Sedin, Steve Bernier and Mikael Samuelsson also scored for the Canucks and Alex Burrows notched three assists to extend his points streak to 11 games.
Jonathan Toews scored the only goal for the Blackhawks, who have won four of their last six games but are 3-2-0 on their current eight-game road trip.
Antti Niemi, who shut out Vancouver in November, allowed three goals in the first period and was replaced by Cristobal Huet, who made 14 saves the rest of the way.
The Canucks built a 3-0 lead in the first period on goals by Samuelsson, Henrik Sedin and Bernier.
Toews made it 3-1 at 3:30 of the third period, but Henrik Sedin scored his second goal 32 seconds later. Daniel Sedin closed out the scoring with a goal in the final two minutes.
