SUNRISE, Fla., Jan. 24 (UPI) -- Tomas Vokoun made 39 saves to lead Florida to a 2-0 win over Toronto and his sixth shutout of the season.

The red-hot Vokoun came into the game having allowed two or fewer goals in five consecutive starts, including a shutout over Atlanta on Monday.

Cory Stillman and Kenndal McArdle scored for the Panthers. McArdle's goal was the first of his NHL career. It came off a turnover midway through the third period that put the Panthers ahead 2-0.

Vokoun had 15 saves in the scoreless first period and withstood 10 shots in the third to nail down the victory.
