INDIANAPOLIS, Jan. 24 (UPI) -- Peyton Manning's three scoring passes carried Indianapolis past the New York Jets 30-17 Sunday, a comeback victory that sends the Colts to the Super Bowl.

Manning brought the Colts back from an 11-point deficit for the AFC Championship.

The 33-year-old all-star quarterback connected on touchdown passes of 16 yards to Austin Collie late in the first half, 4 yards to Pierre Garcon in the third quarter and 15 yards to Dallas Clark in the fourth.

The Colts held the Jets scoreless in the second half.

Indianapolis will play New Orleans in the Super Bowl Feb. 7 at Sun Life Stadium in Miami. The Saints made it with a 31-28 win over the Minnesota Vikings later in the day.

The Colts, 16-2 this season, will be in the Super Bowl for the second time since they beat the Chicago Bears 29-17 in the NFL's championship game in 2007.

Forty-one-year-old Matt Stover booted field goals of 25, 19 and 21 yards for the Colts.

Manning completed 26-of-39 passes with 377 yards and Garcon accumulated 151 yards on 11 catches.

Rookie quarterback Mark Sanchez tossed two touchdown passes for the Jets, connecting with Braylon Edwards on a play that covered 80 yards, and a 12-yard throw to Dustin Keller. Jay Feely kicked a 48-yard field goal for New York.

The underdog Jets (11-8) did all their scoring in the second quarter.

Sanchez was 17-for-30 passing for 257 yards and one interception on a tipped ball late in the game.
