
BATON ROUGE, La., Jan. 23 (UPI) -- No. 24 Mississippi used 14 points each from Eniel Polynice, Chris Warren and Terrance Henry and a strong bench to bounce LSU 73-63 in SEC action Saturday.
Warren scored nine of his points during a 14-5 Ole Miss spurt late in the second half to close out the win.
Besides the offense provided by Polynice, Warren and Henry, the Rebels (15-4, 3-2) got eight points each from Trevor Gaskins, Zach Graham and Reginald Buckner off the bench. Buckner also had a team-high nine rebounds.
Bo Spencer led the Tigers (9-10, 0-5) with 22 points and Tasmin Mitchell had 16 points and 11 rebounds.
The win for Ole Miss broke a three-game skid versus LSU and was its first in Baton Rouge since 2003. T
LSU shot 40.0 percent from the floor in its fifth straight loss.
