LEXINGTON, Ky., Jan. 23 (UPI) -- Darius Miller led four Wildcats in double figures with 18 points Saturday and unbeaten No. 2 Kentucky had no trouble dispatching Arkansas 101-70.
DeMarcus Cousin had a double-double with 16 points and 14 rebounds for Kentucky (19-0, 4-0 SEC), which appears poised to take over the top ranking since current No. 1 Texas was upset by Connecticut Saturday. John Wall and Eric Bledsoe also were in double figures with 16 and 10, respectively.
The victory also was the 65th straight against conference foes for Kentucky Coach John Calipari, breaking Adolph Rupp's NCAA record in that category. Rupp won 64 in a row from 1945 to 1950.
The Razorbacks (8-11, 1-3) got 21 points from Courtney Fortson, 13 from Rotnei Clarke and 11 from Mike Washington.
The Wildcats, who held Arkansas to just 30.6 percent shooting from the field, jumped to a 15-3 lead at the onset and 57-27 at halftime before starting the second half with an 18-2 run.
The Wildcats, the only undefeated major college left this season, are off to their best start since the 1966 season.
