NBA: Denver 105, Los Angeles Clippers 85

DENVER, Jan. 22 (UPI) -- Carmelo Anthony finished with 28 points and 10 rebounds Thursday to lead the Denver Nuggets to a 105-85 rout of the Los Angeles Clippers.

Chauncey Billups had 20 points and six assists, Kenyon Martin scored 13 points and had 14 rebounds and Nene scored 12 for the Nuggets, who won their fifth straight game. Ty Lawson had 11 points, six rebounds and four assists off the bench for Denver.

Craig Smith had 21 points and six rebounds off the bench for the Clippers. Chris Kaman scored 18 for LA.

The Clippers took a 48-47 lead at halftime but the Nuggets opened the second half with a 7-0 run and followed that with an 11-4 spree to take control of the game, and then cruised the rest of the way.
