

BOSTON, Jan. 21 (UPI) -- R.J. Umberger's power-play goal late in the third period Thursday boosted the Columbus Blue Jackets to a 3-2 win at Boston.
Umburger's 18th goal this season followed assists by Kristian Huselius and Anton Stralman and snapped a 2-2 tie with 76 seconds left in regulation.
It was the Blue Jackets' second goal against Boston net-minder Tuukka Rask in the third period.
Antoine Vermette's 15th had created the tie at the 7:16 mark.
Chris Clark also scored, while Steve Mason made 32 saves on 34 shots for the Blue Jackets, who have split their last four games at Boston's TD Garden.
Michael Ryder and Patrice Bergeron scored one each, while Rask was beaten three times on 25 shots for the Bruins, who have lost four in a row and six of seven.
On the power play, Columbus went 1-for-3, and Boston went 0-for-3.
