Wright finished with 21 points, hitting 9-of-14 shots from the field as part of a tremendous shooting effort by the Hoyas. Georgetown took just 43 shots from the field but made 30 of them for a 69.7 percent success rate.
Seton Hall took a 7-6 lead on a jumper by Jeff Robinson with 16:18 to play in the first half but the Pirates did not score again for 5:30. Georgetown led by 16 at the break and Seton Hall came no closer than seven during the second half.
Georgetown (13-2, 4-1 Big East Conference) also got 20 points from Jason Clark.
Jeremy Hazell had 17 for the Pirates (10-6, 1-4).
