NHL: San Jose 2, Los Angeles 1

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 12 (UPI) -- Dany Heatley and Dan Boyle scored goals and Evgeni Nabokov stopped 33 shots Monday in the San Jose Sharks' 2-1 win over Los Angeles.

San Jose notched its first win in regulation over the Kings in five games this season to bounce back from Saturday's loss to the Detroit Red Wings.

Randy Jones had a goal and Erik Ersberg posted 34 saves for Los Angeles.
