NBA: LA Clippers 94, Miami 84

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 10 (UPI) -- Chris Kaman's 22 points Sunday led five players in double figures and the Los Angeles Clippers held on for a 94-84 win over the Miami Heat.

Miami slowly whittled its 79-58 deficit entering the fourth period down to the final score on a jumper by Mario Chalmers with 51 seconds left.

Kaman also had 14 rebounds.

Eric Gordon scored 17, Rasual Butler 13, Al Thornton 13 with four rebounds. Baron Davis scored 11 with 14 assists, while Marcus Camby added six points, 17 rebounds and three steals for the Clippers, who won a sixth straight home game.

Dwayne Wade led Miami with 24 points, three assists and three steals.

Michael Beasley scored 20 with three steals, and Chalmers added 11 with three assists and three steals for the Heat, who have played two contests during a six-game road trip.
