

CINCINNATI, Jan. 9 (UPI) -- Mark Sanchez passed for 182 yards with one touchdown Saturday, leading the New York Jets to a 24-14 AFC wild-card victory at Cincinnati.
The first-year quarterback from USC completed 12-of-15 passes and became just the fourth rookie signal-caller to win his first post-season start.
Running backs Shonn Green and Thomas Jones scored one touchdown apiece.
Green gained 135 yards on 21 carries and Jones 34 on 15 carries.
Dustin Keller scored once on three receptions for 99 yards for the Jets, who face either Indianapolis or San Diego in the divisional round next weekend.
Cincinnati's Cedric Benson ran for a franchise playoff-record 169 yards on 21carries.
Carson Palmer completed 18-of-36 passes for 146 yards with one touchdown and one interception, and former Jet Laveranues Coles had six catches for 48 yards with one touchdown for the Bengals (10-6), who lost to New Jersey in their last two contests.
Cincinnati place-kicker Shayne Graham missed two field goals.
