MILWAUKEE, Jan. 8 (UPI) -- Michael Redd made two free throws with 6 seconds remaining Friday and the Milwaukee Bucks survived a missed 3-point attempt to down Chicago 96-93.

The Bucks built as much as a 15-point lead in the second quarter, and then had to make the key plays down the stretch to hold on for their third straight win.

Milwaukee took a three-point lead on a dunk by Hakim Warrick with 10 seconds left, after which Derrick Rose again brought the Bulls within one on a layup.

Redd was fouled by Kirk Hinrich immediately after the ensuing inbounds pass and his free throws produced the final points of the game. Luol Deng missed on the bid to force overtime.

Andrew Bogut scored 27 points, claimed 13 rebounds and blocked six shots. Milwaukee is 11-1 this season when Bogut scores at least 17 points. Redd added 24 points and eight rebounds.

Chicago, losers of three straight, got 25 points from Rose.
