MEMPHIS, Jan. 8 (UPI) -- O.J. Mayo hit a jump shot with 5.2 seconds to play Friday, giving the Memphis Grizzlies a 91-89 victory over Utah, their first over the Jazz in 12 meetings.

Memphis had as much as an eight-point lead in the fourth quarter but Utah tied it on a dunk by Ronnie Brewer with 23 seconds remaining in regulation. Mayo then produced the game-winner with the last of his 14 points and Marc Gasol blocked a short jump attempt by C.J. Miles as time expired.

Utah had won the first of a home-and-home series with Memphis Wednesday, halting a four-game Grizzlies winning streak.

Zach Randolph led Memphis with 29 points and 15 rebounds and Rudy Gay added 22.

Utah, losers of four out of five, got 16 points from Mehmet Okur and 15 from Paul Millsap.
