Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24

OXFORD, Miss., Jan. 5 (UPI) -- Terrico White scored 21 points and Eniel Polynice added 16 Tuesday to pace No. 16 Mississippi to an 84-56 rout of the University of Central Florida.
Chris Warren scored 14 points while Murphy Holloway added 11 points and 10 rebounds for Ole Miss (12-2), which jumped out to a quick lead and never looked back.
The Rebels immediately took a big lead by scoring the first eight points of the game, with Warren's 3-pointer capping the opening outburst. Another trey a few moments later made it an 11-2 game.
A.J. Rompza led UCF (8-6) with 16 points, while Marcus Jordan scored 13 points in the loss, which saw the Knights go 0-for-11 from beyond the arc.
