BOSTON, Jan. 3 (UPI) -- The Boston Celtics upended the Toronto Raptors 103-96 Saturday without three of their top players in the lineup.

Ray Allen scored 23 points and Rasheed Wallace added 16 for Boston while Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce and Rajon Rondo sat out the game with injuries.

The win snapped a three-game losing skid and ended Toronto's five-game winning streak.

Chris Bosh paced the Raptors with 25 points and nine rebounds. Andrea Bargnani scored 21.

Boston led much of the way, including a 10-point margin at the half.

Toronto pulled to within five a couple of times in the fourth quarter. Bosh hit a jump shot with four minutes remaining to make it 88-83. The Celtics pulled away by scoring the next seven points and taking a 95-83 edge on Allen's 3-pointer with 2 1/2 minutes to play.
