COL FB: Georgia 44, Texas A&M 20

SHREVEPORT, La., Dec. 28 (UPI) -- Aron White caught two touchdown passes, Caleb King ran for two scores and Georgia pounded Texas A&M 44-20 Monday in the Independence Bowl.

Joe Cox passed for 157 yards and two TDs for the Bulldogs (8-5).

Georgia has a record of 26-16-3 in bowl games.

Jerrod Johnson threw for 360 yards and two touchdowns, with two interceptions, for the Aggies (6-7).
