NFL: Tampa Bay 20, New Orleans 17 (OT)

NEW ORLEANS, Dec. 27 (UPI) -- Connor Barth's 47-yard field goal with 8:06 to go in overtime Sunday gave the Tampa Bay Buccaneers a surprising 20-17 come-from-behind win over New Orleans.

Tampa Bay (3-12) erased a 17-0 deficit on a 34-yard Barth field goal, a 23-yard touchdown run by Carnell Williams and Michael Spurlock's 77-yard punt return, the latter coming with 2:25 remaining in regulation.

Josh Freeman completed 21-of-31 passes for 271 yards and two interceptions and Cadillac Williams rushed 24 times for 129 yards for the Bucs.

New Orleans (13-2), which could have claimed the NFC's top seed with a win, scored on an 8-yard run by Pierre Thomas, a 30-yard pass from Drew Brees to Robert Meachem and a 28-yard field goal by Garrett Hartley.

Brees connected on 32-of-37 passes for 258 yards.
