Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24

NEW ORLEANS, Dec. 24 (UPI) -- Chris Paul's jump shot with 19 seconds left Wednesday gave New Orleans a four-point lead and the Hornets went on to down Golden State 108-102.
The Warriors have dropped seven in a row.
Paul scored 20 points and his key jumper put the Hornets in front 106-102. Monta Ellis then missed a 3-point attempt for Golden State and Bobby Brown made two foul shots with 5 seconds left to account for the final score.
New Orleans won for the third time in four games and got 14 points from Davis West and 13 from Peja Stojakovic.
Ellis led Golden State with 35. The Warriors have not won since Dec. 9, when they defeated the lowly New Jersey Nets. Golden State has won just three road games in 17 tries.
