NHL: Anaheim 4, Colorado 2

DENVER, Dec. 23 (UPI) -- Ryan Getzlaf had a goal and an assist and the Anaheim Ducks scored four straight third-period goals to rally to a 4-2 win over Colorado.

Jonas Hiller recorded 15 saves and Todd Marchant, Scott Niedermayer and Dan Sexton scored goals for the Ducks, who have won four of their last five games.

Getzlaf's goal with 25.9 seconds to play broke a 2-2 tie and proved to be the game-winner.

Brandon Yip and Paul Stastny scored for Colorado and gave the Avalanche a 2-0 lead in the final period. Craig Anderson faced 42 shots in goal.

Niedermayer got the Ducks on the board by tapping the puck in as Bobby Ryan was pushed into Anderson, taking the Colorado tender out of the play. Sexton's goal 2:31 later tied the game.

Anaheim kept up the pressure and capitalized when Getzlaf swatted a loose puck into the net from the left circle. Marchant scored an empty net goal in the closing seconds to punctuate the win.
