PHILADELPHIA, Dec. 23 (UPI) -- Scottie Reynolds scored 22 points Wednesday and No. 8 Villanova pulled away in the second half to crush Delaware 97-63.
The Wildcats held a 10-point lead with 13 minutes remaining and held the Blue Hens to just five points the rest of the way.
Taylor King added 19 points and 12 rebounds for the Wildcats (11-1), who have won two straight since suffering their lone loss of the season. That setback came Dec. 13 against Temple.
Delaware (3-8) was led by Jawan Carter with 13 points.
Villanova made 54 percent of its field goal attempts and hit on 13-of-25 shots from 3-point range.
