

ST. LOUIS, Dec. 20 (UPI) -- Kris Brown's late fourth-quarter field goal Sunday gave the Houston Texans a hard-fought 16-13 win over the St. Louis Rams.
Brown's third field goal of the game snapped a 13-13 tie with 4:36 left to play, capping a 7-play, 81-yard drive.
Matt Schaub completed 28-of-40 passes for 367 yards with one touchdown.
Andre Johnson caught nine passes for 196 yards, while Kevin Walter scored once on four catches for 42 yards for the Texans (7-7), who have won two in a row following a four-game losing streak.
St. Louis rookie Keith Null threw for 173 yards, one touchdown and one interception.
Josh Brown kicked two field goals, and Steven Jackson gained 123 all-purpose yards-- 82 rushing and 41 receiving -- for the Rams (1-13), who have lost their last six contests.
They gained only 237 net yards to 419 for the Texans.
