Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24

MIAMI, Dec. 20 (UPI) -- Martell Webster and Brandon Roy each hit key 3-pointers during a 10-0 fourth-quarter run Sunday to lead the Portland Trail Blazers to a 102-95 win over Miami.
Roy, whose trey gave the Blazers a 99-92 lead with 28.7 seconds to go, scored 28 points and had eight assists. LaMarcus Aldridge had 23 points and eight rebounds and Miller finished with 17 points for Portland, which was 11-of-19 from 3-point range.
The Heat got 28 points and 10 assists from Dwyane Wade, while Quentin Richardson was 7-of-7 from 3-point territory en route to 22 points. Michael Beasley added 17 points and eight rebounds for Miami in the loss.
