
NEW YORK, Dec. 20 (UPI) -- Wilson Chandler scored 26 points and Danilo Gallinari added 21 Sunday to help the New York Knicks hold off the Charlotte Bobcats 98-94.
David Lee scored 15 points, pulled down 15 rebounds and distributed seven assists for New York, while Chris Duhon had 13 points and six assists.
The Knicks went on an 8-2 spurt late in the fourth quarter to make it 94-87 with 90 seconds to go. The run was capped by Al Harrington's tip-in.
Charlotte came back to make it 95-94 with 12.2 seconds left, thanks to Raymond Felton's driving layup. Gallinari, however, made a foul shot with 9.3 seconds remaining and then blocked Acie Law's layup to help seal the Knicks' win.
Felton scored 27 points and grabbed nine rebounds for the Bobcats, while Tyson Chandler finished with 13 points and 14 boards, as Charlotte lost for the fifth time in six games.
